Ahead of the national autumn road safety campaign, Michiko Shimizu, an artist from Tokyo’s Chiyoda district, called on people to obey traffic rules and raise awareness about crime prevention. Media Personality Michiko Shimizu: “I declare that I will obey traffic rules, call for the eradication of special frauds, and bring many smiles to bloom in Kanda City.” Ms. Shimizu, who acted as the head of the police station for a day, impersonated Kaori Momoi and Kazuki Enari. In Tokyo, 82 people have died in traffic accidents as of September 6, and the Metropolitan Police Department is calling on “everyone to raise awareness and the police and residents to work together to create a safe city”. The National Fall Road Safety Campaign will run for 10 days starting on the 21st.
