NHK will air “Half Confidence ~Actor Tatsuya Fujiwara~,” which is closely related to actor Tatsuya Fujiwara, on General TV starting at 7:57 p.m. on September 7.
At the age of 15, Fujiwara made his debut in England, the home of the stage, and has since won numerous awards for stage, film and drama. This year, which turns 40, he will star in the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and play Harry Potter, the main character who has become a father.
Harry Potter, who plays the role, has the trauma of losing his parents when he was young, and worries about expressing his affection for his son, and the role is extremely difficult. However, Fujiwara decided to take on the challenge with a completely different approach to the expressive techniques he had cultivated so far. Behind this is an unknown “promise” with his late teacher, Yukio Ninagawa, with whom he spent his life.
Shotaro Oku, the director in charge, said, “I consider him a ‘passionate man who dedicates his life to acting,’ but Mr. Fujiwara’s real face is full of humor. He also has a father who likes to spend time time with his family.. He rides in the car to the rehearsal room. I had the opportunity to listen to the story of the deep bond between Mr. Yukio Ninagawa and his mentor. The thoughts of, and the “drinking at home” with senior actor Kotaro Yoshida is also a highlight!”
