A brace from Akihiro Ienaga pushed Kawasaki Frontale to an emphatic 4-0 win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima in a high-stakes clash between J-League Premier League title contenders on Saturday. Yasuto Wakizaka and Kei Chinen also found the net as back-to-back J1 champions Frontale lifted Sanfrecce into second place with 52 points, a win behind leaders Yokohama F Marinos, who won 1-0 at home against Avispa Fukuoka. The result ended a five-game winning streak for Michael Skibbe’s Hiroshima side, who are now two points behind Frontale in third but have played 29 games, two more.
