[15 septembre, CGTN japonais]The heart, liver, kidneys and lungs donated by Chinese university student Zhou Tong, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 18, are given to five families as “gifts of life”.
Zhou, who was born in Shangrao, Jiangxi, central China, sadly passed away on the afternoon of August 30 after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Mr. Zhou’s bereaved family decided to donate his organs in deep sorrow.
The hearts, livers, kidneys and lungs donated by Mr. Zhou saved the lives of five patients in need of organ transplants. During his lifetime, Mr. Zhou was enthusiastic about volunteer activities and voluntarily participated in new coronavirus infection prevention activities. Ms. Zhou Qian, her older sister, said, “I want to leave my younger sister’s kindness to the world in the form of organ donation. Zhou’s mother said, “In my heart, I couldn’t make up my mind, but I hope my daughter’s life will continue in a new way and bring hope to other families suffering from disease.
