Beckham joins citizens in 12-hour queue for Queen Elizabeth’s condolences
Former England footballer David Beckham has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II who died on the 8th. It has become a hot topic as he has long queues with the general public.
Mr Beckham said he was grateful to be able to share his time with those in the condolence line.
“We all want to be here together. I think we all want to experience something that celebrates the Queen’s wonderful life. Things like today are meant to be shared together.”
“I think it’s great that you honor him as you wish,” said a woman who had been in line with him for 12 hours.
A public burial at Westminster Hall in London will continue until 6.30am on the 19th, when the state funeral will take place.
