London (AFP) – Eight of the Queen’s grandchildren hold a ceremony around the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II in the Westminster Hall of Parliament on September 17, 2017.
Prince William, Prince Harry and eight others stood around the coffin and bowed their heads for 15 minutes as mourners passed.
Prince Harry, who served twice in the British Army in Afghanistan, was not allowed to wear a military uniform because he left the royal family, but he did so with special permission from his father, King Charles III. . Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are trying to mend their relationship after emigrating to the United States and accusing them of racism within the British royal family, which caused friction with other members of the the Royal family.
