On the 23rd, the Meiji Yasuda J3 League played 8 games in the 30th round, and leader Iwaki defeated Ehime, taking a big step towards the championship.
With Ehime at home, Iwaki opened the scoring with Hiroto Iwabuchi’s goal in the 13th minute, followed by Ryo Arita’s second goal in the 85th minute. However, Sagamihara equalized with Jungo Fujimoto’s goal in the 41st minute and was overtaken again in the 72nd minute. In the 86th minute, with Gifu leading by one point, Kosuke Fujioka caught him, and a minute later Ayumu Matsumoto scored to earn the 2-1 victory.
